An event organised with the collaboration of Fondazione Carivit and Biblioteca Consorziale di Viterbo, the contribution of Regione Lazio and the patronage of the University of Tuscia, the Province of Viterbo, the Municipality of Viterbo and the Comunità Montana dei Monti Cimini.
Organised to celebrate the 500th anniversary of the birth of cardinal Alessandro Farnese (1520-1589), the exhibition is a great opportunity to rediscover the strong bond which unites his family to the city of Viterbo.
The rise and power of this important family analysed through documents of extraordinary value and importance, manuscripts never exhibited to the public before and ceramics from the Museum collection.
